What Love the Way You Explore Means to Me

Exploration is an investment—of time, intention, and yes, money. The experiences I choose to explore absolutely cost something. But the memories they create, the connections they deepen, and the way they stay with you long after the trip is over? Completely priceless.

It can involve yachts, five-star service, and moments that make you feel very fancy—and I won’t pretend I don’t enjoy those. But Love the Way You Explore has never been about spending the most. It’s about choosing experiences that feel meaningful, intentional, and—most importantly—like you.

Sometimes that’s a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Sometimes it’s a beach day that resets your soul.

For me, true luxury has always been unrushed mornings, thoughtful details, and exceptional service—the kind where you never have to wonder if something was overlooked because everything has already been taken care of.

I’ve felt that kind of luxury sailing on a Disney Cruise to Iceland, where each port felt like stepping into a postcard and the steady sound of the ocean reminded me just how small—and how lucky—I was to experience it.

I’ve felt it standing at Red Rock Canyon outside Las Vegas, realizing I was only minutes from the Strip and yet completely surrounded by stillness, color, and a kind of natural beauty that literally stopped me mid-sentence. (Which doesn’t happen often.)

And I’ve felt it in moments much closer to home—like traveling to Portland, Maine, standing near an incredible lighthouse, and eating the best lobster roll I have ever had in my life. And that is saying something. Sometimes luxury is simply being fully present in a moment that surprises you.

Those experiences shaped how I see travel.

Exploration, to me, has never been defined by price tags. It’s defined by presence—by slowing down enough to notice, appreciate, and actually enjoy what’s right in front of you.

Some of my favorite explorations weren’t about doing more—they were about doing things well. An Adventures by Disney trip out West showed me just how powerful a thoughtfully curated experience can be. Every detail mattered. Every moment felt intentional. It was immersive without being exhausting—and that balance is harder to pull off than people realize.

A Disney Cruise to Iceland blended comfort with awe in a way few experiences can. You’d spend the day exploring landscapes that don’t even look real—and then return to the same familiar space, the same stateroom, the same sense of ease. That contrast? That’s luxury.

And then there’s Pebble Beach. Hands down, the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. No contest. No debate. There is nothing—nothing—like the sound of the ocean, whether you’re at sea or standing on land. It’s grounding, calming, and deeply restorative. I could explore that beach a hundred times and never get tired of it.

Which brings me to something important.

I believe in discovering new places. New experiences wake us up. They stretch us. They remind us the world is bigger than our routines and to-do lists.

But I also believe just as strongly in returning to the places you love—even if you’ve been there before. Especially if you’ve been there before.

You’re never the same person twice. The destination may be familiar, but you are not. Revisiting a favorite place isn’t repetitive—it’s refined. It’s choosing joy with confidence.

Exploring as a family is its own kind of luxury—shared laughter, inside jokes, and memories that somehow get better every time they’re retold.

Exploring as a couple is different. It’s quieter. Slower. More intentional. It’s reconnecting without distractions and remembering that time together is the most valuable thing you can invest in.

Both matter. Both deserve to feel special.

There are still places calling my name—experiences I haven’t explored yet, but think about often.

Scotland and Ireland sit high on that list, full of history, dramatic landscapes, and stories you can feel under your feet. And then there’s an African safari—an experience that humbles you quickly, reminds you who’s really in charge, and gives you perspective you can’t get anywhere else.

Investing in experiences that immerse me in other cultures always brings me back to gratitude.

Gratitude for the moments that push me outside my comfort zone—and honestly, for the ones that remind me how meaningful the familiar can be too. Exploration has a way of grounding you like nothing else can.

At the heart of it all, Love the Way You Explore is an invitation—to travel with intention, to choose experiences that reflect who you are, and to value how a journey feels just as much as where it takes you.

Whether you’re dreaming of something extraordinary or rediscovering a place you already love, the right experience is never about doing more—it’s about doing what matters most to you, beautifully and well.

And when you’re ready to explore in a way that feels effortless, elevated, and entirely your own, I’d be honored to help guide the journey. Click the Link below to get connected.
