Bring the right documents
Yes, you can sail closed-loop itineraries with a birth certificate and ID — but I wish I had known how much safer it feels to have a passport in case of emergencies.

Arrive at your assigned time
I used to think arrival windows were suggestions. They’re not. Showing up at your scheduled time means shorter lines and faster boarding.
