One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is that EPCOT isn’t very kid-friendly–and some families even consider skipping it during their trip. I’m here to lovingly say...don’t do it! EPCOT is full of hands-on fun, character moments, and interactive adventures that kids absolutely love (I know my kids love it)--especially during the colorful and creative EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!

EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival located at EPCOT in Walt Disney World runs March 4- June 1, 2026 and includes topiaries, outdoor kitchens, a concert series and more.  There is something for everyone to enjoy during this event, but one thing we love most about this festival- it offers guests a chance to enjoy quiet and beauty even in the middle of a theme park.

Each fall, EPCOT transforms into a food lover’s paradise during the International Food & Wine Festival—and 2025 is shaping up to be the most delicious year yet! From August 28 to November 22, guests can sip, savor, and sing their way around the World Showcase with more than 35 global marketplaces, live music, and family-friendly fun sprinkled with Disney magic.
